Tara Van Ackeren Tara Joy Van Ackeren, 42, of Eugene, died Friday, November 18, 2016. She was born October 9, 1974 in Medford, OR to Mark and Susan (Wilson) Mansfield. She is a Graduate of South Eugene High School. In 2003 Tara attended Portland Community College and studied in American Sign Language Interpretation. On February 5, 2011, in Eugene, she married Chris Van Ackeren who survives. Tara would like to let you know that her work here is done. Tara wished her loved ones to stay strong in her absence and know she is thinking of them in her Fairy Planet Land, where her young at heart and truly witty, fun personality will be dancing, watching movies, and reading books to her hearts content. Music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. Tara is survived by her husband Chris Van Ackeren of Eugene; Two sons, Quinn Daniel of Eugene and Sam Cates of Salmon Creek, WA; her mother Susan Skillern and her husband Bill Skillern of Eugene; her father Mark Mansfield and his wife Nancy Mansfield of Jacksonville, OR; a brother Steven Mansfield, his wife Laurie Mansfield, her nieces Emma and Ruby of Gresham, OR; her grandmother Mary Lou Vignola of Eugene and her husband Frank Vignola, and her grandson Christopher Aiden Van Ackeren of Seattle, WA, and all the rest of her family and friends.
