Ted V. Bradshaw

Ted V. Bradshaw, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, died in Louisville on November 6, 2023. He was born in Burgin, Kentucky in 1935 to Fred Denny and Elizabeth Voris Bradshaw, and grew up in Mercer County, Kentucky and helped run his family’s marina on Herrington Lake. An avid fisherman, Ted enjoyed many years fishing on Kentucky Lake and after graduating from college, helping at his brother-in-law’s Kenlake Marina. He attended Centre College and Eastern Kentucky State University and started his career at Murray State University then spent many years as a Government Relations Consultant. Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Elizabeth Bradshaw; his sisters, Jayne (Jay) Wilham and Barbara (Ronald) Leech; and a brother, Donald (Ann) Bradshaw. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn; his sons, Michael (Mary) Bradshaw and Todd (Anne) Bradshaw; a daughter, Nikki Bradshaw; along with three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Clark Legacy Center, 3000 Versailles Rd, Frankfort, KY with Dr. Keith Benz officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00pm until the time of service on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to Versailles Presbyterian Church, 130 N Main St, Versailles, KY 40383 or Honor Flight Kentucky, P.O. Box 25025, Lexington, KY 40524.
