Frankfort, KY Ted Hamilton, 73, husband of Dorothy Jean Hamilton, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016. Born in Louisville, KY on April 21, 1943 to the late Thomas Theodore Hamilton and Bertha Lee Hauselmann Hamilton. Ted worked in computer services for the Kentucky State Government, and was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Louisville, Elks lodge #530, and VFW Post 4075. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Robbin T. Hamilton (Judy), Winchester; his sister Sandra Hamilton Jones (Gary), TX; and his grandchildren Hanna Leigh Hamilton; and Cooper Todd Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Thomas Hamilton. Funeral Information Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Rev. Tim Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Roger Swiger, Brian Harney, Holbert Cheatham, Gary Ison, Charlie Caudill, Steve Moreland, and David Glass. Allen Lyons, Wesley Semones, and John Bridwell will serve as an honorary casketbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, July 18, 2016 at the funeral home.
