Ted died quietly at home on Friday, August 23, 2024 after 3 years of illness. The funeral service will be held August 29, 2024 at Gantt Street Baptist Church, beginning with the visitation at 1:00 pm, then the funeral service at 2:00 pm, and the burial at Woodridge Memorial Park, Lexington, SC.

Ted was a custom home builder and owner of Ted Miles Builders, LLC. He worked in construction most of his life.

Ted was a long-time member of Gantt Street Baptist Church.

Most important to Ted was his faith, family, and work.

He leaves behind a wife, Judy, of 19 years of marriage; daughters: Robbin Buttari (Lou) and Bryce Spillman (Ryan); sons: Teddy Miles (Kama) and Nathan Miles (Nicole); grandchildren: Chandler Miles (Brianna), Kaelena Miles, Anthony Buttari, Nicholas Buttari, Gabrielle Buttari, and Judah Spillman; great-grandson: Stetson Miles; and brothers: Ray Miles (Carol) and Dale Miles (Chanda).

Pre-deceased are father, Cleo Miles; mother, Ida Mae Miles; and sister, Ila Caulk Morris.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the missions’ program at Gantt Street Baptist Church.
