Terence Lyle Lingbloom
May 19th, 1954 - September 11th, 2010
Terence Lyle Lingbloom was born in Bellingham, WA and was raised and attended school in Ferndale, WA. Upon graduation from Ferndale HS, Terry attended WSU and the U of W where he earned a BS in Oceanography. Terrys further education included earning an MBA and a CPA, and he continued to be a lifetime student.Terry joined The Boeing Company in 1979 where he worked in the areas of Materials Technology, and later Supplier Management. Terry loved his work at Boeing and especially enjoyed his long association with his many colleagues and friends. He met his wife Heather (thanks to her sister, Barbara and a vegetarian pizza) early in his career and the two of them enjoyed a 26 year marriage and one terrific son Andrew. Together the family were avid nature lovers and hikers and also enjoyed vacationing in the US and Europe.Terry is survived by his wife Heather, and their son, Andrew Lord Lingbloom, as well as his parents Carol and Charles (Lindy), two brothers, Todd (Debbie), and Torry (Rose), one sister, Tina Blizard (Bruce), and a host of beloved aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews. Those of us who loved Terry will always remember him for his kindness, professionalism, commitment to his family, and especially for his madcap sense of humor and the twinkle in his eye. Rest in Peace, dear Terry. We will always love and miss you.
