Teresa Mary Billeci

Teresa Mary Billeci was born on Feb. 16, 1920 in Monterey. She was the daughter of immigrant parents from Sicily, Nino and Mary Lucido. Her husband of 65 years, Paul A. Billeci, was a fisherman during the sardine era. In 1949 the family moved to Pittsburg, CA where they resided for 52 years. They moved to Pacific Grove in 2001 to be near their children and grandchildren. Teresa enjoyed gardening, crocheting, visiting the casinos, family get-togethers, and always looked forward to her afternoon scrabble and card games with her daughters. She is survived by her daughters, Dianne Bruno (Bart), and Paulette Walker as well as her sons, Vincent Billeci (Jackie) and Anthony Billeci (Cindy). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jim Bruno (Michelle), Paul Bruno (Janet), Jennifer Lupo (Mark), Gino Castro, Robert Walker (Amy), Vincent Walker, Michael Billeci (Mitzi), Gina Billeci, and Monica Salizar. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, her grandson, Paul Castro, her brother, Frank A. Lucido, and sister, Stella DeWilde. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula, 700 Jewell Ave., Pacific Grove, CA. 93950. Service Information
