Teresa "Teri" Diane Haberacker

May 9th, 1961 - March 27th, 2024

Teri Haberacker, 62, of Colorado Springs passed away March 27th, 2024, at her home.

 

She was born May 9th, 1961, to Tom Nichols and Donna Axtell in Aurora Colorado.

 

Teri attended high school at Mitchell High School and graduated in 1979. 

 

Teri worked as a claims adjuster for American Family Insurance for many years. She is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts holding many positions. Terri was an avid crafter. She enjoyed making barbie doll clothes for her girls. She loved to crochet and sew among other crafts. She made many custom birthday cakes for her 5 children. She enjoyed being a Mary Kay consultant. Teri and David recently started traveling to many different National Parks.

 

Teri is survived by her devoted husband, David Haberacker; her five amazing kids, Charlotte (Brian) Campbell, Laura (Kevin) Haberacker, Brandon (Lelia) Haberacker, Sara (Zach) Ehnes, Josh (Tiffany) Haberacker; nine grandchildren, Cheyenne, Allyson, Lucas, Payton, Brynnley, Gracelenn, Jaden, Daniel, and Zoey; parents-in-Law, Robert, and Georgia Haberacker; sisters, Sharon Swenson, and Debe Blackett; sister-in-Law, Kristen Huckley; brother, David Nichols; and many nieces and nephews.

 

Teri is preceded in death by her parents, aunts, and uncles.

 

Memorial Contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital and Make a Wish.

 

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to First Lutheran Church, Children’s Hospital and Make a Wish.
