August 3rd, 1944 - February 11th, 2011
Gone Fishing Terry Flannery Age 66, passed peacefully into the Lord’s arms at home on 2/11/11 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Terry was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 3, 1944 moving to Auburn, WA when he was 8 years old. Terry graduated from Auburn High School in 1963 and married his high school sweetheart Sharon Thomas in 1964. Terry worked in the aerospace industry most of his life, retiring from Aim Aviation Auburn in 2004 as Production Manager. Terry is survived by his wife Sharon of 46 years, sons Terry Jr. (Sheri), Kirk (Kara) both from Auburn and grandchildren Josh, Lacie, Kyle, Marissa and Tyler, sister Kathy (Ken) Smith of Grass Valley, CA, brothers Michael (Bellingham), Tim (Bonnie) Eureka, MT, Pat (Kathy) Ephrata, WA and Herb (Annalee) Yakima, WA and numerous nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Herb and MaryAlice Flannery and sister Susan Murche. Terry loved to fish, camp and cook. One of the last things he said to his wife was “he wanted to go fishing”. CATCH A BIG ONE, TERRY. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, Auburn, WA on 2/19/11 at 11am. A vigil will be held at 7pm, Friday, 2/18/11 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
