February 11th, 1950 - April 22nd, 2006
Hanson, Terry John ?T.J.?, 56, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Palms of Pasadena of cancer under the care of Hospice. He came here in 1965 from his native Grand Forks, North Dakota. He served in the US Air Force. He was a technician for GTE now Verizon in St. Petersburg for many years and most recently was employed by the Vinoy Resort Golf Club. He was Lutheran and was a graduate of Northeast High School and Tampa College He was a member of the American Legion Post 14. He enjoyed watching football, golfing, fishing and spending time with many good friends. Survivors include his son, Steven T. Hanson, New York, NY; mother and step-father, Ethyl and Frank Bob Bakutis, St. Petersburg, FL; two sisters, Joan Nisbet, Grand Forks, ND and Nancy Lyum, St. Petersburg; two nieces and one nephew; and his caregiver, Kathy Hanson, St. Petersburg, FL.
