Tess Kathryn Fox

Tess Kathryn Fox of Springfield, PA, formerly of West Deptford, NJ, passed away suddenly on September 14, 2024. 

Legacy 

Born in Voorhees, NJ and raised in West Deptford, NJ, Tess graduated from Ursuline Academy in 2010 and completed her Bachelor of Art's degree at the University of Delaware in 2014. She was a Brand Development Specialist for Flashfood, after previously working for both Dietz & Watson and Campbell Soup. Away from work, Tess was passionate about many things but most of all, hiking, neighborhood walks with her husband Kevin, working out, traveling and spending time with her dog, Cheese. 

Tess will always be remembered as an intensely loyal wife, daughter, sister and friend who loved spending time at the beach, exploring quaint little towns and attending fall festivals. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Even in passing her generosity was evident by the gift of her organs so that others could live.  

Family 

Tess is the beloved wife of Kevin Merkle; cherished daughter of Terence J. and Judith A. Fox; loving sister of Ian Fox, favored niece of Mary Dobbs, and survived by too many other aunts, uncles and cousins to mention. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you contribute to the charity closest to your heart. Also as Tess loved the color yellow, the family would also ask that you plant something yellow in her honor. 

Farewell Tribute 

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for Tess's visitation on Sunday, September 22, 2024 after 4 PM and on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ.   

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 11 AM at Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick's R. C. Church, 86 Cooper Street, Woodbury, NJ. Interment will be at New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
