Kelly, The Rev. James F., 69, died June 25, 2011 in St. Petersburg, FL. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of James and Helen (Zottarelli) Kelly. He came to Florida in 1985. An ordained priest for 42 years, he was an Episcopal priest of the Diocese of Southwest Florida. He served as Canon Educator while at St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral for seven years. He was also the Rector at St. Wilfred's Episcopal Church in Sarasota, FL for 11 years. He was interim minister at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Dade City, and at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Palmetto, FL. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathleen M. Kelly; two brothers, Thomas Kelly, Charlotte, NC, and Robert J. Kelly, Worcester NY. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, June 30th at St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral, 140 4th St. N., St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Episcopal Charities Fund of the Diocese of Southwest Florida.
