December 29th, 1958 - March 17th, 2019
Thea Inez Straite passed on March 17th, 2019. Tippy (affectionately called) was born in Buncombe County, Black Mountain NC to Buford and Carolyn Daugherty Copeland. She received an Associate in Art from CPCC and was also employed @ Family Dollar Corporate Office. Tippy was a member of Temple Chapel Baptist Church and served as President of the Deaconess. Left to cherish wonderful memories are her beloved husband David Straite, children; Tiffany & Theresa Fair, Monica, Mark & Kerry Staite, 2 sisters; Arlene Finklea & Lynn Copeland along with a host of grandchildren, relatives and friends. The services for Tippy will be held at private venues.
