Thelma "Inez" French
February 11th, 1942 - August 20th, 2024
Inez French, 82, from Mesa AZ, formerly of Flint MI, went to be with our savior August 20, 2024, passing peacefully at home.
Inez was born on February 11, 1942, in Waterloo, Alabama. She moved to Michigan as a child. She attended Beecher High School and went on to solely raise 5 children. In 2008 she moved to Arizona where she enjoyed her retirement from General Motors.
Inez was predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Bischoff and her beloved brother, Richard Landrum. Inez will be sadly missed by her children Tammy French, Angie French, Mike (Stacie) French, Shawn French and Jason (Jeanette) Reid. She truly loved her 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Inez had many friends throughout her life. Margaret Charles being her closest friend for over 50 years built a life-long special friendship. Judy Burtrum will also hold beautiful memories as a devoted neighbor and friend in her retirement years. Her furry bestie at home, Bandit, will miss her “special” treats and extra cuddles.
Inez was a strong, independent, loving soul. Family was everything to her. We are heartbroken however we know we will be with her someday for eternity.
The family will be having 2 celebrations of her life. September 7, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona, and October 12, 2024 in Linden, Michigan. If you would like details, please contact one of the family members.
Rest peacefully Mom, Grandma, Gigi. Have fun playing cards and watching U of M and Detroit Lions football. See you soon!
