Theodore W. Hall

Theodore W. Hall, age 81, of The Villages, FL passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2019 after a courageous battle with Guillain-Barre and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. His funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Summerfield, FL, where Ted had been a faithful member, on Saturday, June 29 at 11am with a luncheon following. The committal service will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Ocala, FL. Ted was born on August 12, 1937 in Chicago, IL, to parents Vernon S. and Florence B. Hall. He graduated from Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, IN in 1956, and from Drake University in Des Moines, IA in 1962 with a BS degree in Business Administration. He was united in marriage to his high-school sweetheart, Judith Cunningham, in 1965, and they were blessed with two children. During his working career, he was known as “the negotiator”, and had been employed by Motorola in Scottsdale, AZ, Martin Marietta in Littleton, CO, Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, IA, and ITT Aerospace/Communications Division in Fort Wayne, IN. Ted was a kind gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing a drink and laughter with family and friends. He especially loved celebrating the holidays with his family. He started putting together model airplanes at an early age and was a perfectionist at this hobby. Ted loved his church and was deeply committed to his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy, and children, Susan Hall Geelan (Joseph), and David Hall, and grandchildren, Lillian, Gabriel and Ava.
