Housman, 83 of Melbourne Fl., passed away February 17, 2014, at Carnegie Gardens Nursing Center. Born and raised in Winthrop, MA, he grew up with boats and hand tools as his constant companions... Joining the Navy after high school, Ted served as an aviation electronics engineer during the Korean conflict. He worked as a tool and die engineer in the radio electronics business and then in computer manufacturing for many years. He married his high school sweetheart, Marlene, in 1952, and together they raised their family in Newton, MA and Miami, Fl. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marlene, and their children, Ronald (Susan) Housman of Boston, Mass, Dr. Keith (Holly) Housman of Savannah, Ga., three grandchildren Seth, Hope, and Noah Housman.
