Theresa Bielski

Mrs. Theresa Bielski, 88, formerly of Prospect Avenue in Gloversville, died peacefully Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in New York City on July 20, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Contessa Caracappa. Theresa was raised in Brooklyn and worked all of her life. She stressed the importance of hard work and family love. Although she is now gone from this earthly dwelling, she will live forever in our hearts. Survivors include her two devoted daughters, Carol Soto and Michele Conti; her beloved sisters, Antoinette and Elizabeth; 5 cherished grandchildren; one adored great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Theresa was predeceased by her husband Chester and brother, John. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10 o 'clock at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Union Street, Schenectady, New York with Fr. Richard Carlino as celebrant. Interment will take place in Linden Hill Methodist Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Chester.
