Mrs. Therese Schick of Lake Alfred, FL, died of natural causes on Sunday, March 21, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at her home. She was 89. Born in Detroit, MI on June 7th 1932. She came to Polk County in 1952. She was a Teacher at Brigham Elementary and Lake Alfred Elementary. She received a Master's Degree at Rollins' College. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. Mrs. Schick is survived by her children Raymond Schick of Lakeland, Bob Schick of Tampa, and Jeanne and Rick Wright of Winter Haven, as well as two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.A private service is being held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 and will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Charities of Winter Haven or St. Petersburg, as well as Good Shepherd Hospice
