Thida Lach

Thida Lach aka AJ, passed away October 5, 2014, at age 34 at his home in Gaithersburg. He enjoyed fishing, living life to its fullest and spending time with his family and friends. On weekends you'd always find him on his boat fishing with close friends or at a Chinese buffet chowing down on snow crab legs and oysters. If there was anything he loved more than fishing, it was buffets. He always knew how to make everyone around him laugh. He was the center of attention in a room full of people. He had a huge heart and if anyone ever needed anything, he'd be the first to give the shirt off his back without hesitation. Although he was known for his tough exterior, he was such a loving, caring person. Thida is survived by his loving mother, Saran Keo; wife Lilian Lach; daughter Karla Lach; niece Malina Phadoungxat; sisters Reasmey Morgan, Thavy Sok, Victoria Sok; brothers Chan Khoun, Lamont Lach, Junior Sok, and Vincent Sok; uncle Sophal Keo; aunt Narim Keo. He was not only a son, husband, father, brother and uncle, but held a special place in everyone's heart. He wouldn't want us to grieve over his death, he'd tell us life's too short. To live life to its fullest potential and do what makes us happy, even though we'd want him to contribute in that happiness. We can celebrate life in his memory. Always remembered, never forgotten. We will always love you.
