Thomas S. Cook Sr., 82, of Moore Haven, Florida passed away on December 24, 2014 at the residence of Debra Jones. Thomas S. Cook Sr. was born on May 7th, 1932 to the late Titus and Thelma Cook of Moore Haven, Florida. Thomas was preceded in death by his son Thomas Stanford Cook Jr. of Patterson, Louisiana and granddaughter Ashley Meadows of Livingston, Montana. Survivors include three daughters Lynda Haithcock of Okeechobee, Florida, Beverly Henrion of Jackson, Tennessee, Jennifer Babin of Edgewater, Florida and his brother Charles Edward Cook of Port Charlotte, Florida. Thomas had 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Thomas played basketball for Moore Haven High School. He loved to go bird and deer hunting. He also attended the Moore Haven Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held at the Ortona Cemetery February 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
