Thomas P. Deuschle Sr.

September 14th, 1930 - August 9th, 2024

Thomas P. Deuschle, age 93, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 14, 1930, in Sioux City, Iowa, Tom was the youngest of eight children. He moved to Colorado at a young age, where he later met and married the love of his life, Evelyn, with whom he shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. A resident of the north metro area for over six decades, Tom spent the last 40 years residing in Northglenn, Colorado.

After a distinguished career in the Food and Grocery industry, Tom ventured into entrepreneurship by starting his own distribution business. His commitment to his community was evident as he served as the founding president of the Northglenn Kiwanis Club in 1963 and actively participated in numerous philanthropic organizations in the North Metro area.

Beyond his professional achievements, Tom was a devoted family man, who cherished the time spent with his loved ones, especially during the holidays. Christmas held a special place in his heart, and his children fondly remember the joy he brought to their home with his festive decorations, homemade candy, and thoughtful gifts. Tom’s love for his family was boundless, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and kindness. He is survived by his sister Madonna; seven children: Thomas, Mary, Mark, William, Robert, Margaret, and Patrick; 22 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherished deeply.

An avid sports enthusiast, Tom found joy in golfing and passed that passion on to his six sons, teaching them to play the game he loved. He was a loyal supporter of the Rocky Mountain sports teams, particularly the Denver Broncos, and enjoyed watching their games. Tom also loved playing card games, especially Hand and Foot, with his children and grandchildren.

A devout Christian, Tom was an active member of several churches in the north metro area over the past 60 years. His home was a haven for prayer meetings, Bible studies, marriage counseling, and various other gatherings, where he formed lasting friendships and made a significant impact on his community.

Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife Evelyn, his son Joseph, and his six other siblings. A celebration of his life will be held on August 15th at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church in Northglenn, located at 104th Avenue and Huron Street, with a light reception to follow.

Tom will be remembered for his boundless generosity, zest for life, and the love he bestowed upon his family and friends. His legacy of compassion and dedication will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May he rest in peace.
