Online Obituaries for Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles KY Thomas B. Fitzhugh passed peacefully on January 27, 2017 in Tampa, FL at the age of 81. Born and raised in Louisville, KY to the predeceased J.D. & Corrine Fitzhugh. A graduate of Fern Creek High School, he married and moved to Lexington, KY and later Tampa, FL. He was a husband, father, basketball coach and friend to all he met. His love for fishing, arrowhead hunting, antique collecting and food buffets were legendary. He is survived by his two children, Gene (Stephanie) Fitzhugh and Lisa (Joe) Fernandez, a brother, Larry (Judy) Fitzhugh and nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A memorial mass is being held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 11:00 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church 3042 Hikes Lane, Louisville, KY. A life celebration will be held immediately after mass at another location.
