Thomas "Tommy" R. Higgs, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at home in Lexington, SC. He was born September 19, 1952, in Albany, GA. Tommy was a devoted husband and father. He spent many years of his career working in public service and enjoyed his retirement with his family.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Pam Higgs; his children, Thomas Higgs (Meredith) and Katie Barlet (Josh); his grandchildren, TJ, Evelyn, Aiden and Theodore; and his brother Shane Higgs. He is predeceased by his mother, Nan Higgs; his father, Maynard Higgs; his brother, Jim Higgs; his son, Travis Higgs; and his grandson, Victor Higgs.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 11:00AM on June 20, 2024, at The Beulah Methodist Church in Gilbert, SC. Flowers and condolences may be offered at 161 Beulah Church Rd, Gilbert, SC 29054.
