Thomas J. Jablonski

Thomas J. Jablonski, 68, passed away peacefully Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in the loving company of his family. Born in Amsterdam on Dec. 18, 1946, the son of the late Stanley and Amelia Alisauski Jablonski, he was a 1964 graduate of Perth Central School. Tom attended and was in the 1st graduating class of FMCC. He received his Bachelor's Degree in accounting from SUNY Binghamton- Harper College graduating in the top of his class. He proudly served with the Army National Guard from 1969 to 1975. Tom retired ten years ago as an accountant from WEST & Co. CPA firm of Gloversville. In his spare time he and his wife loved travelling especially cruises, and caring for his apple orchard at his home. On Feb. 3, 1968, he married his childhood sweetheart, Donna L. Bellinger at St. Stanislaus Church. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his children; Aaron T. Jablonski of Fort Johnson and Katie (Corey) Zipperle of Richmondville; his grandchildren who were the love of his life, Ashton and Ava Jablonski; Alyvia Zipperle and Brooke Power; great granddaughter Kayana Power; brother Joseph (Rachel) Jablonski of Dolgeville; aunt Teresa and uncle Val Kerbelis of Amsterdam; sister in law Joann (Frank) Morbidelli of Saratoga Springs; niece Carolyn, nephews Steven and Michael Jablonski (R.C. Seminarian), Christopher Smith, as well as cousins. A service will take place Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. The Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday prior to the service from 11:15 am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 46 Cornell St. Amsterdam or the Montgomery Co. SPCA, PO Box 484 Amsterdam 12010.
