Thomas Joseph Larkin
November 13th, 1934 - January 14th, 2015
Thomas Joseph Larkin, 80, beloved husband of Gayla, of Largo, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Born in Lansing, MI and moved to Florida in 1978. He graduated from Resurrection High School and Hillsdale College, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Fairway Village Residence Association, and the men's golf league of FVRA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. and Loretta Larkin; mother of his children, Katie Lamanna; brothers, James and Robert Larkin; sister-in-laws, Barbara Thelen, Kay Hallock, and Gladys Larkin. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Gayla P. Larkin; children, Theresa Alexander, Daniel Larkin, Jeffrey (Robert Nardi) Larkin M.D. , Jamie Marie Conrad; step daughter, Sandra Kosloski; sister Leah (Dick) Davis, Laurie (Jim) Gallagher; brother, Jeffrey (Diane) Larkin; sister-in-laws, Betty Larkin and Helene Larkin; brother-in-law, Gary (Susan) Thelen; sister-in-law, Betty (Robert) Lee; grandchildren, Drew, Kayla & Karlee Conrad; Jeremy Larkin, Erica and Nicholas Alexander; great -granddaughter, Leah Larkin and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his circle of friends, staff, Jan and Dan (owners) at The Old Cape Cod Restaurant in Largo. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Anderson McQueen Tyrone Tribute Chapel, 7820 38th Ave North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. Contributions in Thomas's name may be made to Suncoast Hospice-The Pace Program, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. Clearwater, FL 33760.
