Thomas Dwayne Lesher

Obituary Thomas Dwayne Lesher, age 68, passed away at his home in Fort Collins, on March 26th, 2019. Tom was born on July 17, 1950 in Valentine, Nebraska to Harvey Eugene and Barbara Ann (McGuire) Lesher. He attended primary school in Thedford, Nebraska. Tom attended college in McCook, Nebraska until he was drafted into the Army in 1971, where he served as a clerk at Fort Lawton, and was honorably discharged in 1973. In his early years, Tom had a passion for bulldogging, calf roping, and boxing his dad when he refused to eat liver and onions. Later, he settled down and enjoyed spending time with his family. His more recent hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping, stealing steaks off the neighbor's grill, and making people laugh with his dry sense of humor. Tom was preceded in death by his father Gene, an infant brother, his brother James (Jim) and sister- in-law Gerry, brother Bernard, and infant grand daughter Jillian. He is survived by his mother Bobbie Ann, brothers Dick (Roberta) and Ron and sister Mary Ann (Glenn), Wife Deb, kids Christi, Becky, Jason, and Stacy, grand kids Aleksandra, Jaya, Kieta, Faith, Raelauni, Taevian, and Samantha. A graveside service will be held for Tom on May 4, 2019 in Thedford, NE at 11:00am. There will be a gathering held immediately after the service with food, refreshments and memories at Parish Hall.
