Thomas Dean Mairs
March 16th, 1953 - July 6th, 2015
Thomas Dean Mairs, aged 62. Died July 6, 2015 at his home in Spanaway, WA. He was born in Aberdeen, MD to Donald and Dorothy (Binder) Mairs on March 16, 1953. Growing up as a military dependent he lived in Germany, Turkey and many other places around the U.S. He graduated Woodrow Wilson High School, class of 1971, in Tacoma and then from Washington State University in 1976 with a B. S. in Electrical Engineering, going on to work for Boeing and other companies in the aerospace industry. His interests included history, science, reading, WWII history and gaming. He leaves behind his sisters, Kathryn Johnson and Karla Mairs, brother Richard Mairs, niece Kendra Mairs, sister-in-law Donna Mairs, and Brother-in-law Michael Johnson. Friends Kurt Paasch, Brian Rhodefer, Lynn Vea, Henry Vea, Roger and Doris Cook, and Bill Pierce. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Mairs (2008) and Donald Mairs (2009).
