Thomas "Tiberius Copernicus Burns" Neal

February 1st, 1992 - May 21st, 2016

Thomas William Neal, 24, born in Upstate NY on Feb 1, 1992, went to be with the Lord ~May 21, 2016. He is now at peace ... in a better place ... where he is no doubt discovering new adventures and "makin' moves". Throughout his life - to the moment of his death, and forevermore, Thomas brought joy and laughter to everyone. His beautiful blue eyes, his awesome smile, his amazing intellect, his contagious laugh ... and his compassionate, loyal, caring love for his family, his friends and even the guy on the street corner asking for help - so many people will remember his kindness. Thomas could, and would, do anything he put his mind to. His greatest struggle was fighting a losing battle, but God reached down pulled him out of that battle and saved him. He was getting closer every time he tried, and he was so sure he could beat it. Thomas was known and loved by so many, his brilliant light leaving its warmth on everyone it touched. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a friend. He donned many hats and went by many names; Thomas (not Tommy!), Brudder, T-Bone, Bro, Uncle Bone, T-Minus, My son, Homer, T, Scooter, Baby new ear, Thomas the Tank Engine, Juice, Shuffles, and (his personal "favorite") Tiberius Copernicus Burns. Thomas is survived by; his mother, Lori Cervini Neal, his father Donald J Neal (Donna), his sisters Toni, Alexandra, and Erica (Ronnie), his brothers Dennis (Candace) and Rusty, his "Little Bubba" Nicholas, his sister's little Peanut on the way, his brothers-to-be Josh and Durieu, his "brother from another mother" Willie, his Godparents cousin Lori Wilson (Matt), Aunt Patti Campbell (Bobby) and Uncle Anthony Cervini (Maureen), his Aunt Donna, Aunt Phyl, his nieces and nephews, many cousins, and all those he touched … even for just a moment. Thomas went home on to join his Nana Marietta, his Grandma Phyllis, His Papa Lenny, his Nene, so many other family members and so many young friends. Thomas was a man of many talents and interests. He so loved his family and friends more than anything. The battle he fought prevented him from being who he truly wanted to be. He had hopes, dreams, and aspirations far beyond what we could have ever imagined. Some of the things that brought moments of joy to Thomas' life: Making others laugh and laughing along with them; music of all kinds; God; dogs; reading anything he could get his hands on... he was single-handedly trying to keep the printed newspaper business alive; the Yankees and Red Wings; playing cards; watching and endlessly quoting movies and TV; Harry Potter; tattoos; drawing and tagging; knives, guns, anything dangerous; 'mokin' "cigrettes"; yelling out the car window at people; golfing and hitting balls with his dad; playin’ pool with his Mama; singin' and dancin'; girls; Family Guy and American Dad; new socks; and, of course, “these shoes”. Please join with us to celebrate Thomas' life at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4th, 2016. Services will be held at Casas Church, located at 10801 N La Cholla Blvd Tucson, AZ 85742 in the Chapel. There will be a reception immediately following in the Cholla room on the church campus. In lieu of flowers, donations designated in Thomas' honor will be graciously accepted through Wells Fargo Bank to the “Thomas W. Neal Memorial Fund”. Details will be available at his service, online, or through his family. Heaven Just Got A Little Funnier =)

Thomas was a good young man. Sad the he tried so hard to make that better choice. God decided it was time for the decision to be made and he is now with God.
