Thomas Arthur Pitcher passed peacefully at home January 17, 2024. He was born April 23, 1933, to Arthur Beeman Pitcher and Delta Mary Chesebro in Fort Collins. The family actively farmed in the area until 1970. Tom was awarded High Ten Great Western Beet Growers three times. In 1975 he established Pitcher Trucking while his son took over the farming. He loved raising black Gelbvieh cattle. He married Barbara Bockman in 1952 and had two children Gary Pitcher (Colette) Eaton and Gail Fiolkoski (Steve) Pierce. They were later divorced. Tom was remarried to Sammie C. Beckstead Nauta in 1975. He has a stepdaughter Ginger Latham (Tom) DeBeque. He is survived by family members: Wife Sammie, Son Gary, Daughter Gail, Step-Daughter-Ginger, Grandson-Teig Latham-Palisade, Nephews-Kevin Atkinson-Phoenix, AZ, David Hahn-Albuquerque, NM, Great Grandson-Finn Latham. He was preceded in death by parents and two sisters- Jean Atkinson and Margaret Hahn.
