Thomas F. Trinka passed away on October 2, 2018 He was born May 23, 1937 to William and Emily Trinka in Little Ferry, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife and soulmate, Luella Trinka. Children: Cindy, Carol and Tim Grandchildren: Amanda, Rene, Mark, Brandon and Cody Great grandchildren: Branten, Buddy, Chesten, Abigail and Avlynn and many friends in both Sun City West and Ft. Worth. His adult children often sought his advice as they trusted his knowledge and experience. He willingly gave his time and talents to his family and friends when help was needed. He seemed gruff at times, but was all heart - deep down he was a softie. While in high school he played in 2 marching bands. Also, forming his own dance band of 5 musicians. He played the trombone solo for his high school graduation. After graduating from Paterson High School, he joined the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country for 5 years. He was proud to be an American. After military duty, he was employed by Rolls Royce. Later, he owned a Harley Davidson franchise in New Jersey. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas and began a career in the welding supply business. For the next 40 years, he worked in the business, owning his own sales company with Jerry Timms until he retired. He and his wife moved to Sun City West, AZ in 2007 and both became active in the community. He particularly enjoyed gardening, one year he planted 95 tomato plants. Other things he enjoyed were family genealogy research and volunteering support for many of the clubs and many other community activities. He loved a challenge and the Rhythm Tapper club provided many to him. His last adventure was parasailing in Hawaii at the age of 80. He loved it and talked about it many times this past year. Tom will truly be missed by his family, friends, community and loving wife. "Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
