September 9th, 1948 - May 23rd, 2016
Tim Ray Morgan, 67, passed away May 23, 2016 in Olympia, Washington. He was born September 9, 1948 to George R. and Helen S. (Shafer) Morgan in Portland, Oregon. He always did the right thing for his country and family. He loved spending time around his family, bowling, playing darts, singing Karaoke, fishing, and most of all panning for gold. He was a member of Gold Prospectors of America. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Salzwedel Morgan; daughters, Christine M. Morgan of Portland, Maryann L. Morgan of Idaho, Tiffanie R. Morgan, and Melanie R. Morgan (and husband, J.D.); and six grandchildren. He also had many adopted children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Nancy M. Fitzpatrick; and brother, George J. “Butch” Morgan on February 19, 2013. No memorial donations are requested but please honor your local VFW and hug a veteran.
