Timothy James Abele

.Mr. Timothy James “TJ” Abele, age 28 a resident of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021, due to a Motorcycle Accident in Auburndale. TJ Abele was born January 13, 1993, in Avon Park, Florida to Timothy David and Lillian Rose Marie (Mulford) Abele. He spent most of his life living in Polk County, Florida but also resided awhile in Commerce City, CO. He graduated from Auburndale High School and worked for a few different local companies including Coca-Cola & Publix. TJ enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing guitar, being outdoors, traveling, and he loved animals such as his cat, Lucian. Most of all, he loved spending time with family & friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother – Gwendolyn Lorraine Abele, uncle – Harold Clyde Lee Glave, and aunt – Karen K. Mulford. TJ is survived by his father & stepmother – Timothy & Luciana Abele of Lake Wales; mother & stepfather – Lillian Abele & Jeffrey Mincey of Auburndale; wife – Heather Laray Galbraith of Winter Haven; paternal grandfather – James Walter & Barbara Abele of Texas; maternal grandparents – Charles & Sharon Mulford of Auburndale; sister – Jacqueline V. (Mark) Collins of Lakeland; uncle – Grant (Milanie) Mulford of Winter Haven; 3 aunts – Dawn (Joe) Mower of Alaska, Terri Diane Abele of Live Oak, Krystle Lynn Abele of California, & April (Ken) Leese of Winter Haven; 2 nephews – Owen Collins and Oliver Galbraith; 6 nieces – Amber, Madeline & Abigail Collins, Brooklyn & Delilah Donahoe, and Madison Galbraith; 1st cousins – Chelsea (Christopher) Fairless, Clyde Grant (Jenna) Glave, Marissa (Eric) Sheely, Ethan (Sarah) Mulford, Jessica (John) Barber, Kiersten (Robert) Mack, Justin Roberts, Ashley Pilkinton, Katelyn (Zach) Nelson, Lindsey (Tony) Richardson, and Logan. 2nd cousins – Launa, Teddy, Alice, Collin, Zaxton, Nova, Luna, Austin, Ryden, and Jackson. A gathering of family & friends will be held Monday, August 2nd from 4:00 until 5:00 pm, with reflection & storytelling time beginning at 5pm at Kersey Funeral Home 108 Stella Dr. Auburndale, FL 33823.
