Timothy L. Cyr

Mr. Timothy L Cyr, 52 of Clearwater passed away December 23, 2014. He leaves behind many who will miss him: his wife, Angela, his daughters, Rose and Emily, his parents, John and Elizabeth, his brothers, Mike (Ellen), Pat (Lakshmi), and Pete (Nancy), a large extended family, and many dear friends. Tim graduated from Iowa State University. He was a civil engineer and a dedicated employee of HDR Engineering. He was an avid golfer and frequented the Mangrove Bay Golf Course in St. Petersburg. He also enjoyed flying remote control airplanes and photography. Tim's simple acceptance of his illnesses was a model of interior strength. He always had a heart for the less fortunate. Donations in his honor may be made to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society (at Saint Catherine of Siena Church) which ministers to the poor. Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5-7PM at David C. Gross Funeral Home in Clearwater, 830 N. Belcher Rd., where a wake service will be at 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1955 S. Belcher Rd. Clearwater. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. David C.
