Timothy Raye Dyer
May 25th, 1955 - November 22nd, 2015
On the morning of Nov. 22, 2015 Tim Dyer, after a hard fought battle, is struggling no more. Tim was born May 25, 1955 in Greeley, CO to Ed and Mildred (Troudt) Dyer. Tim met Patti and they were later married in 1992. They have one son Tony Dyer and also two daughters Elizabeth and Amy from a previous marriage to Deb Ogan. Tim’s early childhood was spent in LaSalle, CO until his family bought the farm in Ault, CO in 1965. He graduated from Highland High School in 1973, where he was an outstanding wrestler. He was also known around town for his red "Superbee” and its speed and performance. Those that knew Tim always saw that he had a talent for getting the most out of an engine, which led him to becoming a master mechanic on trucks later in life. Tim started at Consumer’s Oil during his last year of high school. He then moved on to work at YR- Trucking as a truck mechanic, and for his brother Allen, at BD&W Truck Leasing. This is where he worked and learned from many talented mechanics, such as Willie (Willie’s Diesel) and Marvin Weber. After that he went to work at Greeley Rebuilders and the Richardson family, as a mechanic as well as driving trucks. Then he moved on to Colorado Kenworth and Ellis & Capp Equipment. Tim was a perfectionist at everything he did. He had a passion for his children, grandchildren, camping, hiking, gardening, farming, fishing and motorcycles. He loved his trips to Sturgis. He was also very proud of his Corvette and his 1941 B John Deere. Tim is survived by his wife Patti, daughters Elizabeth Dyer (Joe Padilla), Amy (Derrek) Semadeni and a son Tony Dyer. Parents, Eddie and Mildred Dyer. Brothers, Allen (Shawn) Dyer, Rod Dyer (Marla Lebo) and a sister, Cindy (Matt) Kaufman. Grandchildren, Kaci, Andi, Ryli, Jordyn and Jenea Padilla, Jaxon and Korben Semadeni and great grandchild Braxton. Along with many nieces and nephews. Celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Adamsons Chapel on Monday Nov. 30th, 2015 at 1 P.M. with refreshments, followed with burial at the Eaton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s name to the American Lung Association in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services.
