Timothy (Tim) Allen Gritton of Brighton, CO passed away quickly and peacefully at Avamere Care Center in Brighton, CO, surrounded by family, on April 8th, 2017 at 1:40 a.m. at the age of 61. Timothy was born on November 11, 1955 in Jefferson, Kentucky to Harold and Ruth Gritton. He received his High School Equivalency diploma, his EMT certification, and served as a volunteer with Platte Valley Ambulance Services in the mid-1980’s. He loved being around his family, especially his grandkids. He also loved fishing, listening to oldies, and being outside. In 1983, Tim married Tracey Duffey and two daughters were born of this marriage, Amanda Joy and Katie Lynn. Timothy is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Matthew) Dean of Brighton, CO, and Katie (Joseph) Heinz of Lochbuie, CO; his brothers, Mark E. Gritton of CO, David Gritton of KY, and sister, Beverly Sue Scott of NV; several nieces and nephews, and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father, and sisters, Melody Ann Greenwald and Mary Catherine Gritton.
