Timothy "Steve" Stephen Johnson

Timothy Stephen Johnson (Steve) 58 of Summerville, SC passed away on June 27, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. 

Steve was born on May 12, 1966 to Gaylon and Karen Johnson in Columbus, OH. He graduated high school at Westgate Christian School, Tampa, FL. and after high school Steve joined the United States Air Force where he was a MP, followed by a 30 year truck driving career with 15 years being an over the road driver.

Steve was an amazing husband and father leaving behind his wife of 22 years, Denise Johnson, his 2 daughters Haley Toole and Eva Johnson, and 2 granddaughters Zoey Watts and Ellie Avento, his mother Karen Johnson Keim, Step Father James Keim and brothers Thomas Scott Johnson(Jeanne Johnson) and Todd Shawn Johnson(Christalyn Johnson). He is preceded in death by his father Gaylon Johnson.

Steve loved sports and was an avid Nascar fan, going to many races around the country. He also loved the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and The Ohio State football teams and Tampa Bay Rays baseball team. 

Steve also loved being in his truck, traveling around the country but he was most happy spending time with his family. Camping, boating or just family dinners at home, cookouts with friends and family, visiting family in Florida, Ohio and West Virginia. Always joking around, he could make you laugh in the most serious situation. He will forever be loved and missed.
