Timothy Dean Moser
December 7th, 1950 - January 17th, 2024
Timothy Dean Moser passed away January 17th at home with his beloved wife by his side. He was born December 7th 1950 in Arvada, CO to Harry and Helen Moser. He has 2 siblings Jerry Moser, who preceded him in death and Joyce Harrington of Arizona. Tim was a loving husband, father, Grandpa, a friend and brother to so many and a Vietnam Veteran serving his country in 1969. He always loved life and it showed in everything he did. Dad always loved a good time and a good party, with a passion for singing and dancing. One should be considered lucky of they got a dance with Dad. He was quite the ladies man also, there really wasn’t a woman one that didn’t take to him, he was a charmer but we all know the true love of his life is Mamasan! There love story began when Mom was living in Gillette, Wyoming and one day while working as a bartender, a group of cowboys came in and immediately they caught each others eye, she knew and even said in that moment that she would marry that man! May 12th of 2023 they celebrated 45 years of marriage. In 1980 they welcomed there first daughter Dennell. They then decided in 1982 to leave Gillette to move to a Loveland, CO where they got settled and in 1984 welcomed there second daughter Lacey. Then life really took a flying leap(Haha) Tim was called many things by all who knew and loved him. The love of my life, Dad, Pops, Grandpa, Papa, The greatest, Timmy, Timbo, Tomorrow, Broser, Little Buddy, Timothy, Cousin, Brother, Best Friend, Cheeseball, One Jump and Mad Dog (Read further) We are sure there is more plenty more where that came from! Dad truly was a Jack of all Trades, a master of none, often times better than a master of one. He worked with the IBEW as a traveler and stay in Electrician for 37 years, where he gained many friends. He was always the best dressed man on the job. Here is where he caught the nickname Mad Dog as one day he mistakenly took a can of Alpo Dog food for lunch, warmed it up, thinking he was about to enjoy some stew! Dad was always one to give a good laugh, his sense of humor truly was one of a kind! He was also so smart and witty when it came to many, many things and when it came to music he knew it like no other. If one ever had a question, Dad most likely had a answer. He was very educated, loved reading his newspapers and doing crossword puzzles with Mom. He would always tell her, let’s kill two birds with one stone, “Mom, you do the running and I’ll stay home, do the chores and have a beer or 2” He never was one to ask for help but if one ever needed anything, he would be right there! He was the type of man to give his shirt off his back and expect nothing in return. Growing up I would find Dad in 1 of 2 places, either in his garden or his garage. He was always busy doing something and our yard was his masterpiece! When he took time aside from that and work, him and mom were busy creating lasting memories for us girls. Sundays we were always at the VFW as Dad and his buddies cooked the breakfast and us girls waited tables and helped out where we were needed. It was a 2nd home to all of us. Countless family vacations, loaded up in the van, never did we fly anywhere as Dad drove us everywhere which only created more amazing moments and memories. If we weren’t driving state to state, Dad was driving us to go camping, our favorite spot was in Gould, CO at the Powderhorn Cabins. Fishing was a must! Lake McConaughey was also another hot spot for our family. As stated in the beginning Dad truly loved life, his zest for it was huge and he made sure there were no dull moments. Back in the day, him and best bud Larry Smith aka Uncle Larry now, they played in a band, Dad as the lead singer, were given the opportunity to be opening act for the Beach Boys. In high school the two of them ran the show in there wing tip shoes and button down collared shirts. From what I’ve heard they couldn’t be contained, Larry and all his buds would always say how he was a badass and nobody wanted to mess with little Timmy, he was fast and he’d pop ya one! Dad and Larry had so many stories and adventures including delivering boats up and down the coast. They were 2 fun loving guys who also thought it would be a great idea to buzz the football field in a plane on homecoming naturally they did not get caught, they were too smooth and just so good at living the life! Dad was also on the ski team and made it on the show pinbusters (bowling) He made every minute and moment count! He also loved golfing with Mom and numerous friends. He loved it so much that on one of our trips to Cancun he just had to pack the clubs, his and mom’s with every good intention of using them, turns out he did not but he thought about it while sippin’ on a cold brewsky! Later on in life after retirement his best past time was being with his family, his Mamasan and as Dad would say his boys and his BB, Anthony, Andrew and Louie. He loved them all more than life! He always worried about all of us and he always had to know what we were doing and most importantly he needed to know what we were eating for dinner. That also included Dad’s friends too, everyone must report there dinner to Dad! He loved to cook and eat, there was no such thing as going hungry in our home. Dad loved nothing more than a good patio, with cold brews, he spent a lot of time outback on his patio with us and Mom and numerous friends BBQ’S, casual get togethers, or one big party! If he couldn’t be found there, chances are he would be at Lacey’s on her front patio. Dad loved coming over almost everyday to visit, weather permitting, I’d always make him lunch, he’d see his boy’s, feed the squirrels and if u really know Dad he had to CS almost everyone who went by. People watching is always great in my neighborhood, never knew what’d u see! Dad also loved going to either the Black Steer, Mexican Inn or the VFW to meet Jake for afternoon brews. Every Saturday night was considered to be Saturday night Live with Mom and some of there dearest friends at the VFW. If you are reading this, you know who you are! Saturday night Live will never be the same that’s for sure! One never really knew what could come out of Dad’s mouth one minute to the next but if u really knew him you wouldn’t be surprised. His sense of humor was the best but one would also need a sense of humor to get it! If easily offended, your were probably in the wrong place. If Dad didn’t CS you at least once chances are he didn’t like you. It’s like reverse psychology. If you weren’t a Weasle Wong, Numbnuts or a Wad at any given point then you just weren’t doin it right! Dad had so many lines, you’d never know which one to expect. He was never one to sugarcoat anything, he told everything exactly how it is was and straight to the point. One of his best life quotes is “If you’re gonna be dumb, u gotta be tough” Despite Dad’s stubbornness and being set in his ways, he was the most loving, caring and whole hearted man and we couldn’t be more thankful that we got to call him ours! Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Papa and a true friend! There will never be another Tim , as he was one of a kind! Dad always said he was Here for a good time, Not a long time and sadly it was true although in his 73 years he made every second of everyday count in so many ways! He truly had a good time and lived a beautiful, amazing life, For that we are forever grateful and for all the time we were given with such a special, wonderful man! You are missed beyond measure and we will forever and always miss and love you every single day until we meet again and what a kickass day that will be!! We will speak your name daily! Dad is only Vaca and he’s saving us a spot on the beach with unlimited Brewskies! Tim is survived by his beautiful Mamasan Cheryle Moser, His two daughters Dennell Gonzalez(Gonz), Lacey Moser, His three grand boys, Louie Gonzalez, Anthony Encinias, Andrew Moser-Rodríguez and many extended family and friends. This will never be Goodbye, only see ya later! We Love you more than Life!! Please come join us June 7th 2024 from 4:00-10:00pm for Dad’s Celebration of Life. All who knew Dad are Welcome! It will be here in Loveland at the VFW Post41. 305 S. Cleveland Ave. Wear your best Hawaiian shirt /Attire and Flipflops and/or best dancin shoes. Dance the night away with music that Dad loved, with Brian Howe as our DJ! This is a party that you will not want to miss, as Dad always loved a good time, good company and naturally throwin back some Cold Brewskies! This is what he would want!
