Timothy James Robson
July 18th, 1957 - November 10th, 2022
Obituary Timothy James Robson, age 65, died November 10, 2022 surrounded by family and friends in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born in Maryland, he was predeceased by his parents, Arthur J. and Dolores A. Robson, and brother, Arthur (John) Robson Jr. Retired from the United States Air Force, First Sergeant Robson served his country with pride and humility. His career with the 302nd Tactical Airlift Wing, Electronic Security Command and Space Command included tours in the United States, Japan and Europe; he last served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He received various commendations and awards during his career, including several Meritorious Service medals. He also served his local community, working for 29 years as Materials Management Director at the nonprofit Peak Vista Community Health Centers and as Trustee for the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3260. Tim, who loved to travel, was a social butterfly who brought people together everywhere he went, both professionally and in his private life. The camaraderie he inspired was impressive. He was a loyal friend to so many, always helpful, thoughtful and trustworthy. You could also count on Tim to be laughing and making jokes and he was famous for his witty one liners at just the right moment. He loved his friends and family, and was the fun uncle you could count on to have a blast playing with the littles. Occasional emails titled "Guess Whos in Town?" prompted immediate plans for a party for him that extended relatives eagerly attended. He was in big demand for family weddings, bringing his pals along to share in his high jinx. Tim is survived by his life partner of 18 years, Dale E. Ogdahl, siblings Kenneth (Gigi) Robson, Barbara (Mark) Dement, Lynda Powell, and Janet (James) Irvin; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and a large community of friends. He will be missed by all. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Tims honor. Military Funeral Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
