Timothy James Russell

   Timothy Russell 8/26/1987 - 3/13/2018    Our dear, sweet Timothy James Russell, age 30, passed away on March 13, 2018, from colon cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Shelly Fausett, beloved pets Wilson, Kate, Turtle, and Morty, his parents, Buck L. Russell Jr. and Cynthia M. Russell, his brothers, Joshua, Philip (Chelsey), and Andrew, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Timothy was a good person who loved with all his heart. As a child, he was described as a "friend magnet." He made friends wherever he was in the world. He will be missed by many.  He had a wicked, irreverent sense of humor that got him and Shelly through the roughest days. He was unmatched as a best friend and spouse. He loved without condition or pretense – intensely and sweetly. They fell in love instantaneously and fiercely and loved each other more every day. He took care of her when her health faltered, and she was grateful to be able to care for him in return.  Tim was extraordinarily talented at anything he put his mind to. He was an alumnus of Utah State University and journalist for the Utah Statesman. We will cherish his articles, especially his "Student Guide for Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse" as remembrances of his humor, wit, and love of all things "off beat." They also thank his brother-in-law, Blake, for his loving work as his caretaker.  A celebration of Tim's life will be held on April 14th at 2 pm at The Inn at Paradise in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
