Timothy “Tim” Shealy passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife, Pat, daughter, Tara and close family and friends.

Tim spent his life working at Shealy’s Sandwiches with his father, Brist, which was recognized in Columbia Metropolitan Magazine in 2001 as the "Best in the Midlands". He and his wife, Pat, took over as owners of the 62 year old business until it closed in 2001, after his parents, Brist and Ora, retired . Tim also attended Lander College, for which he was always proud of being one of the first males to live on campus.

He proudly served in the Air Force National Guard and was an active church member. Tim loved Southern history, classic rock and smoking his pipe. He also enjoyed the company of his Yorkies, Roxie and Flossie, as well as his parrot, Buffet.

Tim was predeceased by his son, Timothy Shealy, Jr.,  and his parents, Brist Shealy and Ora Riddle Shealy. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Pat; his loving daughter, Tara Shealy of Daytona, FL; brothers-in-law, John (Terri) Zenoni of Blythewood, SC and Gregory Zenoni of Lexington, SC; sister-in-law, Susan (Steve) Woody of Rock Hill, SC; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Roy Mullis of Pelion, SC and Steve and Debbie VonVille of Beaufort, SC; all of whom he loved dearly.
