Tim Weitzel of Greeley,  64 years of age,  passed away at his home on Friday, May 17, 2024.  

Tim was born August 28, 1959 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins to LeRoy and Lydia (Heinze) Weitzel. He was the youngest of three children. Tim graduated from Windsor High School in 1977. Tim worked at Kodak, farmed and helped his Mom with her drapery business.  

During his younger years he enjoyed playing football, basketball, softball and golf.  

He is preceded in death by his parents LeRoy Weitzel and Lydia Weitzel, his brother in law Ed Ganz, Grandparents Christ and Katherine Heinze of Windsor and John and Anna Weitzel of Fort Collins . He is survived by his brother Richard (Carol) Weitzel of Eaton, his sister Barbara Ganz of Greeley , his sole surviving Aunt, Betty Roberts of Aurora, numerous cousins and his constant companion Querly.

 

Tim loved his family , loved big and was always there to help his friends when they needed help. Many of his friends say he was their best friend. He will be missed by all who loved him. 

 

Tim’s family will have a private service..
