Tina Joy Rudd

Tina Joy Rudd, 57, of Charleston, SC, passed away on October 29, 2019. Her Memorial Service will be held at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 3:00PM. Tina was born in Demopolis, Alabama on April 24, 1962, a daughter of the late Clifford L. Morris and the late A. Joyce Morris of Glen Rose, TX. Tina worked as an Accounts Payable Associate for the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant for TU Electric Company in Glen Rose, TX for 6 years, worked as an Accounts Payable Associate at Kiawah Island Resorts after moving to Charleston, SC in 2005, and worked as a Deli Associate for Southeastern Grocers at the Bi-Lo on James Island, SC from 2016-2018. She moved to Bay City, TX in 1989 where she got married to husband Bruce J. Rudd and decided to be a stay-at-home Mom to raise her 2 sons in a home environment. While in Bay City, TX she was heavily involved in Little League Baseball where she derived great pleasure being a Team Coach, becoming a member of the local Little League Board and to watch her 2 sons play baseball. Her hobby of greatest enjoyment was reading books and she read thousands of books during the course of her lifetime. Tina is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bruce J. Rudd, her 2 sons, Colton Lee Rudd of Austin, TX and Casey Dalton Rudd of Charleston, SC, her half-brother C. Wayne Morris of Newport News, VA, niece Michelle A. Craven of Johns Island, SC and nephew Randy V. Craven, Jr., of North Charleston, SC, niece Jennifer M. Polasek of Spring, TX and nephew Jonathan A. Morris of Poquoson, VA, her cousins Linda Browning of Daphne, AL and Adrienne Daigle of Lake Charles, LA, second cousins Keiron McGowin of Birmingham, AL and Jason McGowin of Theodore, AL, and many dear friends. Tina is preceded in death by her late Father, Clifford L. Morris, her late Mother, A. Joyce Morris. Funeral and Memorial Services are being handled by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services in North Charleston, SC.
