He started working at Kodak in 1972 and dedicated 32 years there, 6 years as a real-estate appraiser and 12 years in transportation. He loved to travel thru different parts of CO and other states for the beauty they had to offer and change of scenery. Golf was Toby and Pats favorite hobby. They played 100 different courses, collecting his 100th logo ball at Torrey Pines for his Birthday this year. Toby got a hole in one in his first year playing back in 1997 and thought golf would be easy. He never got close to another one again. Toby married Patty in 1999 in Cabo San Lucas….Blessings to have over 40 family and friends join in the celebration bringing them together. Toby was a diehard Broncos fan for 50 years. He had season tickets for 25 of those years. He watched them lose 5 super bowls, but said it was all worth it for the 3 he watched them win. Toby has 10 half siblings on the Trujillo side from his father Felix’s first marriage. Toby has 6 half siblings from his mom Edna’s side. He was raised by this side of the family. Toby was the youngest and his older siblings all played a large role in raising him. He was truly raised by a village. Edna was Toby’s hero. He got his strength from her. He had the opportunity to work 4 years in the restaurant business with her. He didn’t know it at the time, but without her saying was developing a work and life lesson that he would carry with him for the rest of his life. Services will be held at Saint Johns Catholic Church: 8/18/2023 Rosary 10:00 am, Mass 11:00 am, reception to follow. 1730 West 12th Street Loveland CO 80537
