Tod Michael Willis
November 4th, 1993 - January 29th, 2024
Tod Michael Willis of Evans went to be with his Savior Jesus on January 29th, 2024, at his residence. He was born November 4th, 1993, to Thomas Willis and Barbara (Wood) Yates in Greeley, Colorado. Tod earned his High School Diploma from Greeley Alternative Program (GAP) in 2013. He had already been in the workforce before graduating, working various odd jobs including working for an events company. During his employment path he held jobs in many different industries some were construction, janitorial, security and food service, you might say a “jack of all trades.” A common theme in all his career choices was that Tod liked to make a difference in people's lives. This desire to make a difference carried into his personal life. More than anything else he loved to make people laugh. He was always cracking jokes, yelling random odd things to catch people off guard just to make them smile. Some things that were most important to Tod were spending time with his family playing card games and board games such as poker, codenames, risk, and monopoly, listening to music with his friends and family, and watching Disney movies. He loved and accepted everyone unconditionally. Tod was a friend to all, and his friends meant the world to him. He was loyal, loving, caring, and resilient. Tod survived three heart surgeries within his lifetime. He was the best big brother anyone could have, always there to help in a moment of need no matter the hour. Tod was always there for his family and friends to listen to and cheer them up when needed. Tod is survived by his parents, Thomas Willis, and Barbara (Wood) Yates, siblings, Evan, Thomas, Quintin, and Stephani Willis, Elivia, Elliott, and Nina Dschaak, Zaiden Long, and Logan Yates, grandmother, Carol Willis, grandfather, Carl Wood, Aunts & Uncles, Paul Willis, Andy Wood, Heather Austin, and Rebekah Wood, numerous cousins, and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Karrie Willis, grandmother Jeanette (Anderson) Wood, grandfather, Arthur L. Willis II, close friend Tyler Kauffman, and great-grandparents. Services will be held on Friday, February 9th at 4pm at the Living Grace Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Living Grace Baptist Church, at 3251 W 22nd St, Greeley, CO 80634.
