Todd A Brewster

Todd Arthur Brewster, 53, of Austin, Texas, passed away April 11, 2023, after a courageous battle with ALS. Todd was born July 1, 1969, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to Richard and Sally Brewster. Growing up on the family farm in Bellvue, CO, he enjoyed the outdoors--camping, riding dirt bikes, Jeep off-roading, running farm equipment, and whatever else he and his friends could imagine (which was plenty). After graduating from Poudre H.S. and attending Colorado State University for a time, he enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1990, receiving the highest non-combat award of Meritorious Mast. He served in the Reserves, attaining rank of Sargent, until honorably discharged in 1998. Todd loved his country and considered being a Marine his greatest accomplishment. In 1991, Todd married the love of his life, Charlotte Martino, in Austin, Texas. They lived in Ft. Collins where their children, Skye and Cade, whom he adored, were born. The family moved to the Austin area in 2000. He drove trucks for a local shredding company, then for Iron Mountain, where he quickly became a manager and worked for almost a decade in a variety of positions. In his last job, driving trucks for BioMedical Waste Solutions, he relished his "office view" of Texas - capitol building, plains, hill country, cities, and small towns. He could easily organize, schedule, solve problems and fix almost anything. His remarkable sense of humor kept everyone entertained with quick comebacks. For him, living life to the fullest meant enjoying everything he could, even throughout his illness. Todd is survived, and greatly missed, by his wife Charlotte, daughter Skye, son Cade of Austin, parents Richard and Sally Brewster, sisters Connie (James (Tim) Inghram) Brewster of Bellvue, and Laura (Gary) Patrizi of Albuquerque, brothers, Scott of Fort Collins, and Kevin (Kimberly) of LaPorte, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A family service was held in Austin. A service with military honors will be held in Bellvue at a later date.
