Todd James Emerson

Todd James Emerson Todd J. Emerson, 37, passed away suddenly at home May 19, 2011, in Rochester, WA. He was born September 16, 1973, to Carl F. and Frances M. Emerson in Vallejo, CA. Todd attended schools in Tenino and North Thurston, and recently was a student at SPSCC. He worked in building maintenance, painting, and welding/fabrication. Todd loved animals, was loyal to friends and family, so good with kids, had a great sense of humor, and was free spirited. He loved playing his guitars, sketching, writing, auto racing, hunting, motorcycle riding/racing, spending time with friends and family, and being with his beloved dog, Bella. Todd is survived by his parents, Frances and Joseph Feil of Olympia; brother, Curtis Emerson of Olympia; sister, Kristine (Nick) Larson of Tenino; two nieces, Jenny and Emily Larson of Tenino and aunts, uncles and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl F. Emerson; all his grandparents; and his devoted dog, Janis. Todd will be missed so dearly. We know he’s now at peace. We hope that anyone who had the experience of knowing Todd will realize their good fortune. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Masonic Cemetery, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater 98501. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Services in Olympia.
