Todd Russell Sherrill

Todd Russell Sherrill of Charlotte, NC passed away at the age of 52 on Sunday, January 16th, 2022 after a courageous battle with COVID-19. He attended Myers Park High School and graduated from CPCC with a degree in Law Enforcement Technology and a Bachelor of Science from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, NC. Todd worked for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a Senior Portfolio Manager, but also worked in both commercial and residential real estate. He was an active volunteer for Cub Scouts, where his boys were members, as he loved to teach the members lifelong skills. Todd was a devoted husband and father and his legacy will live on through his boys. He is the son of the late Pamela Tucker Sherrill and the late LTC Lawrence G Sherrill, Sr., (Larry), and brother to the late Lawrence G Sherrill, Jr. In addition to his father and brother, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Martin Hurlich. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Sherrill and sons Aiden and Jackson Sherrill; his brother, Tucker Sherrill; Mother-in-law, Harriet Hurlich; sisters-in-law Michele Vayle (Adam) and Robin Poe (Eric) and his much-loved niece and nephews, Sonia Atkins, Lucas Atkins and Ethan Vayle. A service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 21,2022 at Temple Beth El, 5101 Providence Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226. COVID protocols will be in place.
