Tom Sink, 79, died January 4, 2017. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 3:00PM Friday January 6, 2017 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Dr. Earl Crow officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. A native of Davidson County, Tom was the son of the late Azielee Stynchcomb and Garland Ruby Sink. Tom was a 1955 graduate of Lexington Senior High School. He was in sales his entire career and formerly owned and operated Army-Navy Store in Lexington. He was a part of the men’s golf group who played twice a week at Oakview Country Club. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by a daughter Dr. Julia Sink, sister Helen Sink, and brother Harold Sink. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years Alice Sink of the home; daughters Corey Lenger of Swannanoa, NC, and Lydia McCabe and Tony of Clemmons; grandchildren Cole McCabe, Jackson McCabe, and Isabelle McCabe; sisters Becky Yarborough and Jack of Lexington, and Martha Church of Lexington; brother John Sink and Marian of Lexington; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
