Tommy "Keith" Dailey, a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him joined his heavenly father in heaven August 22nd, 2021. Keith an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, was born in Lamont, CA June 14th, 1943. Keith grew up in Bakersfield, CA where he graduated from East Bakersfield High School. Keith's exceptional track career while attending high school garnered the request to add his name to their Hall of Fame. Keith always a humble man declined the accolade. Keith continued his educational pursuits attending Cal Poly achieving a BS in Agronomy in between his daily beach volleyball tournaments. Keith served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam receiving several accommodations including the Bronze Star. Keith settled in the Yuba Sutter area where he owned and worked his pear farm for several years before changing his career to become a U.S. Postal Carrier where he later retired. Keith met the love of his life for the last 24 years Patricia (Denney) while working at the post office. Keith an avid metal detector could also be found in his free time tinkering with a new hobby such as self-taught Ham Radio operator, guitar, or repairing antique clocks. There wasn't anything Keith couldn't fix. Keith is survived by his sons Matt Dailey (Patty-wife), Ben Dailey, daughter Tawnya Smallwood (Scott-husband), sisters Jarita Carter, Cheryl Dailey Irish, step-father Chuck Massey, and 14 grand/great-grand children. Keith was proceeded in death by his brother Jerry Dailey, father Thomas Dailey, and his beloved mother Lois Massey. Services will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City at 11am, September 4th, 2021. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in Keith's honor to the Disabled American Veterans organization.
