Tommy Michael Powell, "Mike", age 67 of Charlotte North Carolina, passed away November 23, 2016.He served in the US Army and worked at General Tire and Rubber Company until he retired. He is survived by daughters Laura K. Powell and Rachel C. Powell of Charlotte, North Carolina. He is also survived by sister, Shelly Newhouse-Carter of Charlotte, North Carolina and brother, Dean Carter of Vassalboro, Maine. Mike's family would like to express special thanks to Cousins Wanda Campbell of Keysville, Virginia and Rita Gail Powell of Charlotte, North Carolina for their constant love and support.
