Tommy "Tom" LeRoy Thompson
November 2nd, 1941 - May 29th, 2024
Tommy (Tom) Thompson passed away peacefully on May 29th 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease in the care of Hospice in Sun City Arizona. He grew up in Granite Falls Minnesota and after high school decided to follow a few of his friends who were going to Concordia college to study Physics. He then moved on to North Dakota for graduate studies. He spent his career working as an engineer in semi- conductors.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Tilden and Violet Thompson along with sister Betty Kelley.
He leaves to celebrate his memory his wife Barbara. Sons Daniel (Lori) Thompson and Chris Thompson, daughters Debra (Brian) Jackson and Suzanne (Teun) Smits; grandchildren: Chelsea Goff, Chayton Jackson, Brendon and Tyler Thompson, Madison and Parker Smits, Kirsty (Alex) Yousif, Shelby and Chesney Thompson.
A personal thanks goes to Winilyn Home, Bliss Hospice and Benevilla for their compassionate care.
